Mr. John Harrigan
Principal Harrigan comes to the JHS community after serving Franklin High School in the role of Vice Principal for the last 9 years. Previously, he has served the field of education in the role of Activities Director and Special Education Teacher. Principal Harrigan is a strong communicator who values collaboration. He is a service-oriented, student-centered, equity-driven leader. Please help us in welcoming him to the Jefferson High School Community!
Mr. Jonathan Ho
Mr. Cesar Vega
Cesar Vega has served his entire career at Jefferson High School. He began as a student teacher in the 1999-2000 school year as a PE, Health and Economics teacher. For most of his career he taught Health and Peer Assistance where he made a strong effort to improve the Jefferson community by getting students to see the positive traits in each other. He now serves as Vice Principal where he is an equity-driven leader.. Mr. Vega is passionate about football, baseball and basketball and served as Head Coach of Jefferson’s Varsity Football, baseball and Softball teams throughout his time at Jefferson. Born and raised on the Peninsula, Cesar is a passionate SF Giants, SF 49ers and Golden State Warriors fan. In his free time, he enjoys following his favorite sports teams and spending time with his wife and two kids.
Mr. William Brown
Will Brown grew up in Sacramento, CA. and began his career in education in 1996 as an AVID tutor and football coach at Roosevelt High School in Fresno. Over the next 10 years he served as as Teacher, Basketball and Football Coach and Counselor. Since 2006, he began his career in school administration. He brings enthusiasm and positive energy to every interaction. He is a Sacramento Kings fan. He is a proud father of three girls and grandfather of 3. "I always ask myself how I'd like to be treated in that situation" so I approach people and challenges with compassion and creativity. One of his favorite quotes is, "When you pray, move your feet" meaning, if you want something, you have to do something.
