86 Years of Academic Achievement

Jefferson is:

Academically Rigorous

All students expected to complete College Prep (UC/CSU) Program Requirements include:

- World Language requirement for everyone
- Honors/Enrichment throughout the program
- Full Set of AP classes

Small Learning Communities (SLC)

- Make sure teachers have close relationship with students
- Allow teachers to collaborate to create rigorous and relevant curriculum
- Easy for students to find their place in a "smaller school"
- All students have the same set of core teachers (English, Math, Science, Social Science)
-Teachers can work together to identify individual needs of each student
- Each student has a teacher advisor for 4-years for parent to contact, track student growth, and support academic counseling/College Prep.

"Small school, big opportunities"
